Immortal City – Scott Speer

Immortal City (Immortal City, #1)Immortal City by Scott Speer
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

One of the important values you need to have while reading this book is definitely patience. Just a warning that the book doesn’t pick up until very much later in the book and the series. The plot gets better every book, so if you plan to read this book, you have to be prepared to read the rest of the trilogy.

Some thoughts:
-As I said above, the pacing is really slow at the start.
-This book is a major instalove book, and you know how I feel about instalove…
-The plot is very unique though. Although I think there are already some books out there that have a plot a bit like this, this one is more complex .
-The leading male is a bit self-centered.
-The leading female is the typical I-don’t-care-about-famous-things-because-I’m-to-mature-for-that. Then typically, she falls in love with the most famous angel. *facepalm*
