My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I gave this book a high rating because I already got attached to most of the characters from the first two books, but honestly the plot wasn’t all that good. I feel that the author rushed this book too much… Some parts didn’t really make sense or didn’t contribute to the plot, which you’ll read in my review down below, Of Neptune really is an excellent read.
-One, Galen’s beating himself up way too much. It’s not his fault that Rachel died. Everyone’s torn up about it, he should stop being so self-centered and realize that his actions are affecting everyone else who cares about him.
-I liked Reed’s introduction to the book because it should make Galen shape up!!!
-Emma and Galen stayed apart for almost the whole book. It’s a little weird, but it’s unique I guess???
-Reed isn’t really an important character. He’s just a representation that Emma’s not alone and that there are others like her.
-TYRDEN IS SUCH A USELESS BAD GUY THOUGH! He’s nothing near Jagen. The conflict isn’t even surrounding him like it was surrounding Jagen. The real conflict of the book is the prejudice against half-breed Syrenas.
-The plot could’ve been a lot better though. Most of the book revolves Tyrden beating up Galen or Reed and Emma sightseeing. Those don’t really contribute to the story.
-They also didn’t exactly resolve the conflict. Galen and Emma mate and everything BUT WHAT HAPPENS TO THE KINGDOMS AND NEPTUNE?!
I REALLY LOVED THE SERIES THOUGH. I DON’T REGRET READING IT. YOU SHOULD READ IT TOO. TRUST ME. ❤
